As Mrs. Florida Globe 2024 and Director of the ONE Foundation, you’re deeply involved in community initiatives. How do you balance your roles as a wife, nutritionist, and wellness consultant with your philanthropic endeavors?

I feel so blessed to do what I really love, to live exciting life, and contribute to the community. I believe if you do what you enjoy, it energizes you and gives you the ability to be more productive. I’m very fortunate to be supported by my husband, Daniel Palmier. Our loving and respectful partnership is the foundation for our personals developments and our family’s harmony.
Planning is a practical tool I use everyday to navigate all those exciting projects I manage. If something is in my calendar or “to do” list, it will happen.
Another time management strategy of our family is based on “WIN” — What’s Important Now. We focus our attention on the priority.

Can you share a pivotal moment or experience that inspired you to be a director of the ONE Foundation, and how has its mission evolved since its inception?

My husband created ONE Foundation in 2008 in the midst of the economic crisis. It became his main purpose and motivation to create the resources to help others who sometime don’t have anything, even access to clean water.  The ONE Foundation combines financial resources, education, social services, and volunteerism to improve lives and communities across all continents.
In 2021 I joined the organization and became its Director. I was truly inspired by all those amazing projects the foundation did so far: Water for Life, Food for Life, educational projects in India, participation in medical supplies all over the world, local hurricane relief and others. I saw an unlimited need and challenging supply of resources. My biggest goal for the foundation is the ensuring its growth based on strong partnerships and meaningful fundraising.

Given your background in nutrition and wellness, how do you incorporate these principles into the initiatives of the ONE Foundation to promote holistic well-being within communities?

After I graduated with a bachelor degree in management and masters in International relations, I started my professional corporate journey in New York. It was a great experience, but my true passion was always about health, wellness, beauty, and creation of bigger impact in other people’s lives. In 2020 I moved to Miami and got married to the love of my life. I started to pursue my passions and first received my skin care specialist licensed, then went through wellness coaching certification, and positive psychology and nutrition study with Stanford university’s courses. I started my own wellness consulting practice where I incorporated my knowledge of nutrition, psychology, and skin care for the holistic approach with my clients. The most rewarding aspect of my work is when I see real results and improvements in my clients’ lives.
Our Water for Life and Food for Life projects within ONE Foundation are about the basic wellness needs — access to food and clean water. Without satisfaction of these fundamental needs, a person simply cannot survive and community cannot progress. Believe it or not, there are a lot of places in the world where people don’t even have these basics. For example, Turkana people in Northern Kenya don’t have clean water and little girls have to walk the whole day everyday to deliver water to their families. If we build a water well for the village there, these little girls can go to school now instead of caring water. Ultimately, the society will progress from there. I believe all the people on our planet are interconnected and if we don’t take care and help each other we cannot progress as a humanity. Everyday progress and development is a true happiness in life for me.

With your diverse expertise, how do you envision the future growth and impact of the ONE Foundation both locally and globally, and what steps are you taking to realize this vision?

The unique nature of ONE Foundation is that we don’t have any administrative expenses.
Everybody who works for the organization does it on voluntary basis and doesn’t get paid salary. Every dollar donated goes directly to the people in need.
I believe that the future of the organization is limitless, although the challenges of the world are unlimited. We will keep support our global projects as well as local. We are happy to be able to organize fundraising events for different causes. This year our biggest event in Miami is Fisher Island Charity Fashion Show. We partnered with the award winning designer Isabel Lopez who is not only very talented, but also has a huge heart and always gives back. The runway will be resplendent with prominent philanthropic women as opposed to professional models. This charity fashion show is dedicated to celebrate authenticity and originality and these women’s dedicated efforts. The event will benefit Women in Need Foundation and Caring for Miami organization. We are happy to support these amazing organizations, help Women and local community. We plan to make this event annual and raise awareness and resources for meaningful causes through excitement, fashion, art, and beauty.
ONE Foundation is a magical platform which unites people with kind hearts. Together we can do more!

My “one thing”
is a combination of 3 concepts
which work together.

Lena Palmier

Firstly, it is positive attitude. As women we have to perform so many roles in our lives: taking care of the family, being a successful professional, great friend, looking presentable, being healthy, smart, kind, feminine, and in good mood! Not everything will go our way all the time. But I believe our attitude determines either the situation is good or bad. Sometimes “rejection is God’s protection” and if we look positively at things we will feel better and stronger and ready to deal with anything life throws on us.
Secondly, clear vision of compelling future helps me to overcome any difficulty and move forward towards my goals. It’s like GPS — it will guide you only if you enter a clear destination address there. Having my idea of compelling future helps me to be excited about my life and have energy to create more. There are a lot of crazy things going on in the world so

it’s very easy to be negative, depressed, and give up. Only if you see a compelling future, you have the ability to move forward no matter what.
And lastly I have my special “vitamin” I take every day. It is vitamin G — Gratitude. I start every morning with gratitude letter to God, for me God is the higher power, greater than myself. When I set my mind on the things I’m grateful for, it’s a great foundation for a successful day.
I believe our true strength as Women is in our femininity. Whatever helps us to be balanced, positive, creative, and happy is a great support for staying true to our divine feminine nature. We bring light, love, kindness, and beauty to this world. Divine feminine women empower each other, exchange energy and shine brighter when they support each other.
