From Nurse to Entrepreneur:
My Journey of Freedom, Fitness, and Motherhood
For a long time, I thought success meant choosing one path and walking it consistently. Life – and motherhood – taught me something different.
My name is Lucie Flohic, and my story began in the intense world of intensive care nursing. Every shift carried urgency: alarms, emergencies, moments where a decision could mean life or death. I gave my best to patients, but often at the expense of myself. The work was meaningful, but I felt confined, exhausted, and tied to a rhythm that left little space for balance.
Motherhood changed everything. Suddenly, I no longer wanted to choose between being a present mother and building a career I loved. I wanted both. I wanted to read bedtime stories and still create something impactful. That’s when I chose to reinvent myself.
Leaving the hospital was terrifying. Entrepreneurship in wellness, sport, and nutrition felt like stepping into another universe—new skills, new rules, new risks. Yet with every step, I discovered freedom. Fear turned into energy. My passion for health and performance became my mission: helping others take care not only of their bodies, but also of their minds and their dreams.
Today, I lead a business that spans across France and continues to expand internationally—into overseas territories and onto new continents. I work with women from every walk of life: mothers, athletes, wellness enthusiasts, and those ready to rewrite their own stories. In this role, I am at once a coach, a leader, and a motivator—standing beside those who dare to want more.
And here’s the most important lesson I’ve learned: success is not about “either/or.” You don’t have to choose between being ambitious or tender, career-focused or family-centered, strong or vulnerable. Real strength lies in the “and.”
Being my own boss isn’t just about financial freedom. It’s about creating a life aligned with my values, passions, and priorities. For me, that means being a “mumpreneur”—cheering at my children’s sports matches, then leading international calls right after. It means showing my kids that you can build a career you love without sacrificing who you are.
If there is one message I want women to hear, it is this: you are allowed to want more. You are allowed to be more. You don’t have to choose. The paths you thought were separate can merge into one powerful, fulfilling journey.
My motto is simple:
It’s not just a dream. It’s a decision. And you can make it too.
One thing I know is this: there is no “perfect time” to start.
The right moment is the one when you choose to listen to your gut and take action—even when uncertainty is loud.
