Dianna leads with faith, purpose, and intention. She is a Wife, a Mother, a Business Owner, a Ministry Leader, and Mrs. USofA Curvé 2025. Every role she carries is rooted in alignment between her values and her vision.
Building The Makeup Within:
In 2018, Dianna founded The Makeup Within Beauty Studios, a Full Service Salon and Spa and Spa Suites Concept. This is home to over thirty Beauty-Based Independent Contractors. Dianna created this space to empower women to grow professionally while remaining confident in who they are personally and professionally. The Makeup Within was built on the belief that beauty starts within.

Two Decades in the Beauty Industry:
In June 2026, Dianna celebrates 20 years as a Licensed Aesthetician being dubbed “The Brow Architect”, which led to her start “The Brow Blueprint” where she specializes in all things Brows, including Brow Waxing, Tinting, Laminating, and Permanent Brows. Her work is centered on restoring confidence and helping women recognize themselves again.
Faith as the Foundation:
Faith is the foundation of Dianna’s life. She serves on the Praise and Worship Team at her church Eastside Assembly of Believers and leads the Member Care Ministry Team. Her leadership is grounded in service and love. Faith guides every decision she makes.

A Wife, a Mother, and a Blended Family of Seven:
Dianna is a devoted Wife and Mother. She and her husband Joshua Kennedy lead a blended family of seven, including a foster daughter. She strives daily to model what success truly looks like. Success is not only monetary, It is built through relationships, partnerships, connection, and integrity. Motherhood remains one of her greatest accomplishments.

Community Impact:
Dianna believes influence multiplies when like minded people collaborate toward a shared purpose. This belief led her to partner with the Skoolie Foundation. Through this partnership, she helps serve families in need. She participates in Resource Wednesdays, helping distribute Blessing Boxes of fresh food each week. She is also launching a Women’s Empowerment Initiative Program with the Founder Brandon Simmons.

The Crown and the Calling:
In June 2025, Dianna was crowned Mrs. USofA Curvé Globe 2025. She entered pageantry to expand her platform, not to chase a crown. Her mission aligns with The Makeup Within that confidence and Identity begin from within.
Dianna believes that when a woman understands her true identity, she moves differently in every room she enters. This philosophy is the heartbeat of her work, her leadership, and her platform. She believes confidence is revealed from the inside out and expressed through how we live, serve, and lead others. Her journey continues to inspire women to lead boldly, serve faithfully, and walk confidently in who they were created to be. This is the heart of her legacy and the message she carries forward. It is lived daily through purpose, faith, and action.

Beyond the Skill:
Becoming More Than What You Do
For as long as I can remember, my dream was Beauty. I wanted to become a Makeup Artist, specialize in Brows, and one day own my own salon. What I didn’t realize then was that this dream was only the starting point of something much bigger.
What I once believed to be the destination became a season of trial and error—filled with lessons, failures, growth, and refinement, often through what felt like hardship. Over time, I began to understand that Beauty was never meant to stop at the surface.
Behind the chair, I wasn’t just enhancing faces. I was helping women rediscover confidence they didn’t even realize they had lost. That’s when I understood that The Makeup Within was never just a business name—it was intentional. Beauty was the tool that brought women to me, but Healing was always the purpose.
What started with Brows expanded into leadership, mentorship, community service, and supporting other small businesses. One thing I know for sure is this: when you stop placing limits on what’s possible, what begins as a passion can become a purpose—far greater than you ever imagined.
